Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking an Application System Analyst Senior to bridge end-user needs with IT and vendors, designing, building, and optimizing clinical and business applications. You will support service requests, analyze workflows, and contribute to medium-to-high complexity projects.

You will mentor teams, lead testing initiatives, ensure change control compliance, and collaborate with operations to standardize best practices across ministries. Strong healthcare knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred in healthcare, business, or information systems.
• Ability to present complex data visually (charts, graphs).
• Strong change-management and adaptability skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, test, document, educate, implement, support, and maintain or optimize assigned applications to meet operational and technical requirements.
• Independently provide guidance on QA and testing initiatives and manage testing projects.
• Lead with an advanced understanding of applications to help meet customer goals and outcomes.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and team members to gather information and report status clearly.
• Lead and evaluate process and requirements analysis for complex projects; perform gap analysis and cross-application recommendations.
• Develop strong client relationships and contribute to strategy discussions with informed options.
