Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta seeks an IT analyst to implement and support clinical technology applications for its user community. You will advocate for user needs, coordinate support requests within Information Systems & Technology, and ensure safe patient care by delivering clinically and technically sound solutions.

• 2 years of experience in clinical application support with strong technical background.
• Experience with Epic and other clinical applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as business partner with service lines, departments, individuals, and coworkers. Develops in-depth knowledge of system capabilities, applications, and processes to function effectively as an educator and expert for system users.
• Participates actively in routine meetings with department heads and/or superusers to identify, document, and prioritize their needs.
• coordinates operational and capital project requests with IS&T and operational teams.
• Acts as contact point with IS&T regarding system down time.
• Provides Epic and other applications software support, file maintenance, and build for break-fixes, optimizations, updates and implementations.
• Maintains strong and positive relationships with all application vendors.
• Provides on-call coverage as scheduled.
