Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a senior analytics leader to plan and oversee enterprise BI and analytics strategies. You will manage a team of analysts, prioritize requests, and deliver analytic solutions that drive decisions across the healthcare continuum.

The role reports to the Director, Enterprise Analytics and emphasizes quality controls, staff development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of industry experience in Analytics and Information systems, with three (3) years of leadership.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Customer focused and collaborative mindset.
• Result-driven, fast-paced environment, able to handle multiple projects.
• Strong intrapersonal and time management.
• Domain knowledge in BI tools, data science tools, dashboards such as Tableau, PowerBI, SAS, R, Python.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic initiatives of the department aligned to system goals.
• Lead data collection, processing, modeling, analysis and insights development.
• Oversee analytics requests, prioritize, and deliver solutions across the organization.
• Develop quality controls and departmental standards; recruit, train and develop staff.
• Collaborate with executives to support data-driven decisions and enterprise priorities.
• Oversee health, availability and management of analytic systems/tools; root cause analysis and maintenance.
• Mentor and coach analytics staff; promote use of analytics inventory across the system.
