Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a Director, System Quality Analytics to develop and execute strategic analytics initiatives aligned with the Quality Department's goals. You will establish governance, standardize enterprise analytics, and lead cross-functional teams to forecast, report and improve quality, patient safety and clinical effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in math, economics, engineering or computer science or equivalent required.
• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• Epic or related database certification or training preferred.
• 7+ years in a complex health system with 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• 5+ years deploying operational reporting/BI in a complex health system.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic leadership to standardize reporting capabilities and processes across Quality Analytics.
• Standardizes and optimizes analytics and data governance across the department and enterprise.
• Collaborates with managers, physicians and senior leadership to improve operations and quality reporting.
• Leads a matrixed team of clinical and non-clinical staff toward department goals.
• Develops and maintains technology roadmaps in support of Quality Analytics needs.
• Ensures data sources and databases are functional and produce meaningful reports.
