Job summary

CarePoint is hiring a Healthcare Data Analyst II in Denver area. The role focuses on designing advanced analytics and data systems across clinical service lines, including Emergency Medicine and Teleneurology.

You will architect Power BI environments, manage PostgreSQL infrastructures, and translate clinical needs into predictive data models. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree with 1 year of BI/analytics experience, and can lead data governance, ETL pipelines, and executive storytelling

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Analytics, Data Science, or Database Technologies.
• 12 months of experience in data analytics/data science or BI.
• Experience with ICD-10 and CPT codes for clinical/financial data modeling.
• Experience with large relational databases and PostgreSQL.
• Power BI dashboard development, data modeling, DAX, M.
• R and Python for ETL, data wrangling, and analytics.
• Healthcare data analysis in Emergency Medicine, Hospitalist Medicine, Teleneurology, and Neurology.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute complex statistical analyses and predictive models using Python and R for operational efficiency.
• Develop enterprise-level Power BI data models and dashboards with DAX, M, and SQL.
• Perform advanced outlier detection and data integrity checks across clinical metrics.
• Combine clinical quality, financial, and operational data to find improvements and cost savings.
• Apply ICD-10/CPT knowledge to analyze outcomes and service utilization.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and data governance across datasets.
• Lead automation initiatives for data collection and cleaning with Python.
• Mentor juniors in visualization, SQL, and Python techniques.
• Present findings to executive leadership to influence decisions.
