Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an analytics-focused professional to support Allegheny Health Network's financial, operational, and clinical performance analysis. You will partner with hospital and physician organizations to deliver financial insights, performance drivers, and executive summaries.

The role requires experience in decision support, strong data manipulation skills (SQL/Tableau/Alteryx), and the ability to manage multiple projects while communicating insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• ~3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and able to analyze/interpret financial, operational, and clinical data
• Ability to work with large detailed data and extract strategic insights
• Capable of juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop cross-organizational partnerships
• Self-starter who drives progress with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Conduct analytics and reporting on financial, operational, and clinical performance.
• Partner with hospital and physician organization stakeholders to support major initiatives.
• Explain trends using G/L, patient account or procedure-level data and quantify key drivers.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses, variance analysis vs. budget/forecast/prior year, and benchmarking.
• Augment financial analysis with operational/clinical data for holistic insights.
• Utilize rate/volume calculations to quantify impact of changes in mix.
• Create and present executive-level summaries with findings and recommendations.
