Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a data analytics professional to support the organization’s financial, operational, and clinical performance. The role partners with hospital and physician stakeholders to provide detailed analysis and insights, leveraging SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and other tools to quantify drivers and explain trends.

Responsibilities include ad-hoc analyses, budgeting/variance assessment, and presenting executive-level summaries with recommendations.

Qualifications

Approximately 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and able to analyze and interpret data including financial, operational, and clinical metrics.
Ability to work with large data sets and illuminate strategic insights for business operations.

Responsibilities

Analyze volume, revenue, cost, and profitability to explain financial results.
Conduct ad-hoc analyses as requested by leadership.
Explain variances relative to budget/forecast and identify opportunities for improvement.
Supplement financial analysis with operational and clinical data for holistic insights.
Create and present executive summaries with key findings and recommendations.
