Job summary

Pennant seeks an Analytics Engineer to build and optimize an enterprise data platform supporting reporting, operational excellence, and AI-driven decisions across senior living, home health, hospice, and home care.

You will partner with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to develop scalable data models, trusted datasets, and analytics solutions. Hybrid work in Eagle, ID or Salt Lake City, UT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Warehousing, BI, or Data Analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with dbt.
• Experience with dimensional data modeling and data governance.
• Snowflake experience preferred.
• Healthcare data experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data warehouse models.
• Develop and support dbt transformation pipelines and automated testing.
• Translate business requirements into trusted analytics solutions and reusable data products.
• Optimize SQL queries and data models for performance and scalability.
• Support data quality, governance, lineage, and documentation initiatives.
• Create semantic models and business metrics for reporting and analytics.
• Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to solve complex data challenges.
