Job summary

Pennant is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build and optimize our enterprise data platform, partnering with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data models and trusted datasets for reporting, operations, and AI-driven decision-making across healthcare services.

You will design data warehouse models, support dbt pipelines, and develop analytics products while focusing on data quality, governance, and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Warehousing, BI, or Data Analytics.
• Advanced SQL skills required.
• Hands-on dbt experience required.
• Dimensional data modeling and data governance experience preferred.
• Snowflake experience preferred.
• Healthcare data experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data warehouse models.
• Develop and support dbt transformation pipelines and automated testing.
• Translate business requirements into trusted analytics solutions and reusable data products.
• Optimize SQL queries and data models for performance and scalability.
• Support data quality, governance, lineage, and documentation initiatives.
• Create semantic models and business metrics for reporting and analytics.
• Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to solve complex data challenges.
