HHS Technology Group is seeking a Data Engineer to develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and big data solutions in a healthcare analytics context. You will work on ETL/ELT processes, data ingestion, and data integration to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience using SQL for ETL functions.
• 5+ years of experience with Python, Scala, or Java.
• 3+ years of experience with Apache Airflow and Apache Spark.
• 2+ years of experience with Snowflake or Redshift.
• 2+ years’ experience with visualization and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to support ETL/ELT processes.
• Design, build, and maintain big data solutions for analytics and reporting.
• Optimize and automate data processing workflows.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards, including HIPAA and secure data transfers.
• Implement data quality rules, automated testing frameworks, and validation processes to ensure data integrity.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
