Job summary

Hippocratic AI is seeking a Sales Engineer in Menlo Park, CA to craft and deliver tailored demos of our agentic AI platform, bridging sales, product, and clinical workflows. You will prototype agent flows and lead technical conversations with executives across pharma and health systems.

You will write code for demos, own the technical narrative in sales cycles, and help translate requirements into robust agent designs, while supporting pilots and ensuring safety-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience spanning software engineering, forward deployed engineering, solutions/sales engineering, or technical consulting.
• Ability to code - Python or JavaScript, APIs, and prototyping with LLM-based or agentic systems.
• Consulting-grade client presence: structured thinking, executive-level presentations, and the ability to run a room.
• Strong storytelling and communication skills; able to make complex technology simple for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous, high-growth environments.
• Commitment to safety, ethics, and patient-centered outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver tailored demos of our agentic AI platform with prototype agent flows and demo environments for each prospect.
• Write code for demo scaffolding, light integrations, data mocking, and rapid proofs of concept with LLM/agentic tooling.
• Own the technical narrative in sales cycles - presentations, solution architectures, ROI stories.
• Run discovery and scoping with prospects, translating requirements into agent and solution designs.
• Serve as the technical voice - answering product, integration, and AI safety questions.
• Support pilots and proofs of concept hands-on, bridging sold vs deployed.
• Provide field feedback to Product/ML teams to sharpen the platform and pitch.
