Job summary

Cherrydale Health & Rehabilitation Center in Arlington, VA is seeking a driven Director of Admissions to lead the admissions department and strategy for census development. The role requires public speaking, relationship-building with referral sources, and strong organizational skills to manage admissions and paperwork.

You will oversee the Admissions Department, develop monthly marketing plans, meet enrollment goals, conduct sales calls, and ensure accurate medical records and smooth patient

Qualifications

• Public speaking, marketing, customer service attitude, innovative work ethic, persuasive capabilities, and organizational skills.
• 2-4 years outside sales experience; healthcare industry preferred.
• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Active listening and excellent verbal and written communication; must be a team-player.
• Basic computer skills and confidence with interacting with a variety of people.
• Knowledge of nursing/medical practices and Medicare/Medicaid knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the Admissions Department and Admissions Coordinator.
• Meets weekly and monthly admissions goals according to target.
• Develops and maintains a monthly marketing plan for the Healthcare Center.
• Conducts effective sales calls with designated targeted referral sources.
• Reviews patient medical records for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
• Ensures smooth transitions and complete paperwork upon admission.
