Job summary

Willow Valley Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation is hiring an Admissions Director to lead the admissions process from inquiry to move-in. The role drives census growth, coordinates with hospitals, families, and the care team, and ensures smooth transitions with a focus on compassionate, timely admissions.

The Director collaborates with clinical and financial teams to assess eligibility, reports on referral activity, and supports outreach efforts to expand community relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Experience in healthcare admissions or marketing.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and insurance-based admissions preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR and CRM systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all admission inquiries and referrals, ensuring timely responses and follow-up.
• Conduct facility tours and represent Willow Valley in a professional, warm, and knowledgeable manner.
• Maintain close contact with referral sources such as hospitals, case managers, and social workers.
• Collaborate with the clinical and financial teams to assess eligibility and coordinate seamless transitions.
• Track and report referral and admission activity, analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support marketing and community outreach initiatives to drive census growth.
• Ensure pre-admission assessments are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and stakeholders throughout the admission process.
