Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a concierge/admission personnel to assist the admission leader with daily responsibilities such as maintaining admission guidelines, internal marketing programs, room preparation, tours and visits. You will support prospective residents and families, handle inquiries, verify eligibility, and coordinate with social services and referral sources to ensure smooth admissions.

Qualifications

• Experience in health care services or pharmaceuticals is desirable.
• Familiarity with long-term care useful.
• Professional image through appearance, behavior and speech.

Responsibilities

• Maintain admissions guidelines and update policies and procedures.
• Market programs and facilities by providing information and conducting tours.
• Handle walk-in or phone inquiries and coordinate with referral sources.
• Verify financial eligibility before admission to reduce accounts receivable.
• Screen prospective residents against admission criteria and referrals.
• Resolve dissatisfaction by investigating concerns and proposing changes.
• Maintain knowledge of market areas and referral sources; assist census development.
• Manage incoming inquiries per sales model; central intake as needed.
• Use clinical inventory to evaluate residents for admission and verify coverage.
• Meet families to sign paperwork; collect physician and resident information.
• Sell private transition days to current residents.
• Assist in follow-up with families after admission; problem solve with staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
