Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Administrative & Operational Intern for an on-site role in Macon, GA. You will support diverse healthcare projects, work with physicians and staff, and gain exposure to system administration and operations.

The role is 40 hours per week during May 31, 2027–August 6, 2027, with a pay range of $21.00 per hour. No prior experience required; enrollment in a related degree program is expected.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Healthcare Leadership, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Management, Nonprofit Management, Data Analytics, or a related field with junior or senior standing.
• GPA of at least 2.5.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Intern will help manage diverse portfolio of healthcare projects and contribute to progress and work product of initiatives.
• Becomes part of the work unit team to carry out assigned work and identify resources to accomplish goals.
• Assist in describing and integrating functions and relationships supporting Advocate Health's vision across practice, education and research; inpatient and outpatient settings; hiring, training, and retaining staff.
