Job summary

WTW is seeking a Healthcare Financial/Actuarial Manager in a hybrid setting to contribute to complex analyses across employer health and group benefits. You will interface with vendors and clients, develop models, and lead financial projects for smaller to mid-sized clients while delivering high-quality analyses and client deliverables.

The role requires strong actuarial knowledge, 5+ years’ experience, and the ability to guide teams and manage timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in professional services, ideally in a benefit consulting/brokerage firm or health underwriting/actuarial function of an insurer.
• Advanced knowledge of health and welfare products & services.
• Experience with big data analytic techniques preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of underwriting and funding concepts.
• Proven ability to lead multiple projects and deliver on time and budget.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop financial analyses, outputs and client deliverables across a regional team.
• Learn core financial, actuarial and analytics theories, models and tools.
• Support accurate claim reporting and financial modeling to guide client decisions.
• Build knowledge of health plan designs and funding concepts.
• Execute tasks contributing to financial/actuarial deliverables with deadlines.
• Collaborate with Global Delivery Centers and Client Service teams.
• Foster cross-functional relationships and effective teamwork.
