Job summary

WTW is seeking a Healthcare Financial/Actuarial Associate Manager in Charlotte to contribute to complex analyses and design, financing, and measurement of health and group benefit programs. You will interface with vendors and client teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and communicating results clearly.

You will lead multi-team efforts, provide direction on funding strategies, and help develop pricing and reserve models while growing your health actuarial acumen and project management

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in professional services in health, actuarial, or related field.
• Knowledge of health and welfare products & services.
• Ability to learn big data analytic techniques.
• Underwriting and funding concepts knowledge.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong client service orientation and communication.
• State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining.
• Progress towards health actuarial designation or CEBS (optional).

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analyses and client deliverables across a region.
• Provide direction on benefit plan analysis and funding strategies.
• Contribute to vendor financial reviews.
• Review technical and consulting accuracy, model plan design and reserves.
• Deliver accurate claim reporting and financial modeling to support client decisions.
• Collaborate with Global Delivery Centers and Client Service teams for project management.
• Communicate complex results to drive client action.
• Build relationships and collaborate across teams.
