Sentara Health is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join a healthcare finance team. You will gain hands-on experience across cash management, receivables, reconciliations and month-end processes while supporting day-to-day operations in a large healthcare organization.

The role requires attention to detail and collaboration with internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Remote-friendly with local area alignment in the Hampton Roads region.

Qualificações

• 1 year or more in accounting, finance or related field.
• Knowledge of cash handling and receivables processes preferred.
• Experience with reconciliations and month-end close is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Process and reconcile cash-related transactions, deposits, adjustments, and accounts receivable activities.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Perform routine account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in the general ledger.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with internal and external audit preparation by gathering required documentation.
