Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in medical office software and daily computer use.
• Excellent verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to community members, patients, staff, and partner agencies.
• Use motivational interviewing to assess needs and resources.
• Educate about program requirements and assist with enrollment or referral.
• Uphold enrollment guidelines for Medicaid Expansion, MAC, MAP, Medicare, ACA, and related programs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to reduce errors and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain efficient workflow and timely referrals.
• Document activities in MAC, Connector, and MAC-related systems as requested.
• Develop relationships with community members and agencies through outreach.
