Job summary

Kintegra Health in Gastonia, NC is seeking an experienced PA or FNP to join our clinical team full-time. Under physician supervision, the PA/NP delivers broad medical services including histories, exams, diagnostics, treatments, prescribing medications, and coordinating patient care.

The successful candidate will possess current licensure, CPR, TB/vaccinations, and CME compliance; experience in a medical office or FQHC and strong communication with patients and staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted certification and/or licensure.
• CPR and all applicable certifications required (must be obtained within 30 days of employment).
• Knowledgeable in population health management in underserved populations.
• Understands ethics of confidentiality.
• Experience in medical office or FQHC preferred.
• TB testing and vaccinations per OSHA guidelines.
• Makes professional use of CME requirements.

Responsibilities

• Engages in patient-centered care for patients and families.
• Provides medical evaluation and treatment as part of the clinical care team.
• Documents history, exam, assessment and plan for each patient with education as needed.
• Provides orders for prescriptions, tests, and referrals as needed.
• Coordinates follow-up and reviews test results timely.
• Supervises care by non-clinic agencies and coordinates with others.
