Job summary

Kintegra Health is seeking a Community Resource Advocate to assist patients with Medicaid expansion enrollment, ACA options, and charity programs. The role includes SOAR disability applications, helping uninsured patients, and referring to community resources.

You will coordinate outreach events, build relationships with community agencies and elected officials, and advocate for patients within FQHC networks; require experience in medical office, bilingual preferred, and proficiency with Epic

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of medical office software.
• Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and community partners.
• Use motivational interviewing to assess needs and resources.
• Educate on program requirements and enrollment/referral.
• Adhere to enrollment guidelines for Medicaid, MAC, MAP, Medicare, ACA.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain efficient workflow.
• Document activities in MAC, Connector, TPC and coordinate referrals.
• Recruit volunteers to support SHIIP and SOAR services.
