Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns calmly and according to escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances and parking areas.
• Deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence and communicating observations to leadership.
