Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain records.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents and report concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Direct visitors and deliveries, maintain traffic flow at access points, and communicate with site personnel and responders.
