Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 2–4+ years in benefits administration or HR operations.
• Working knowledge of Health & Welfare benefit plans.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including large data sets, formulas, file comparisons, and reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to research complex issues and drive resolution.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to high volume and changing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions with employees, agents, and vendors.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and escalate when appropriate.
• Collaborative and service-oriented with a focus on confidentiality and employee experience.

Aufgaben

• Administer benefit eligibility, contributions, enrollments, terminations, refunds, and related transactions.
• Manage weekly Health & Welfare deduction files using Excel for analysis and reconciliation.
• Prepare and coordinate benefit statements and communications related to status changes.
• Manage Health & Welfare appeals, COBRA subsidies, and Executive Life Insurance payments.
• Research and resolve complex benefit cases with internal partners and vendors.
• Coordinate biannual benefit earnings updates and data validation.
• Perform year-end and year-start validation of benefit elections and deductions.
• Conduct MAR/SOX audits to ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Perform data analysis, reconciliations, testing, and quality-control activities.
• Manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Build relationships with employees, agents, and internal/external partners to de-escalate issues.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen efficiency and experience.
• Support Benefits projects, testing, and implementations as needed.
