Job summary

Harmony Gardens in Maplewood, MN is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to join our on-site team in a full-time, benefits-eligible role. The HUC will support residents and staff through accurate orders, scheduling, and records management, ensuring a positive resident experience.

Ideal candidates bring knowledge of medical terminology and 2+ years of experience; strong customer service, solid computer skills, and familiarity with PointClickCare are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a health unit coordinator or health information certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not needed.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Accurate data entry with computer proficiency in Windows applications.

Responsibilities

• Enter physician’s orders with high degree of accuracy.
• Schedule medical appointments and transportation.
• Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
• Provide ongoing customer service to residents, family members and facility visitors.
• Assist withinventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
• Complete other tasks as requested.
