Job summary

Chapel View, a Cassia community in Hopkins, MN, is hiring a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to join our team. This full-time role coordinates information and provides administrative support to ensure residents and visitors have the best possible experience.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of medical terminology and prior HUC experience. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, with a wage range of $22.00–$26.82 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Experience as a health unit coordinator or health information certification desired.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows-based applications.
• Time management in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.

Responsibilities

• Enter physician’s orders with high degree of accuracy.
• Schedule medical appointments and transportation.
• Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
• Provide ongoing customer service to residents, family members and facility visitors.
• Assist within inventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
• Complete other tasks as requested.
