Chapel View, a Cassia community in Hopkins, MN, is seeking a Health Unit Coordinator to join our team in a full-time role within long-term care. The HUC will coordinate information and provide administrative support for residents, families, and visitors.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of medical terminology and prior Health Unit Coordinator experience. Shift is Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, with a wage range of $22.00–$26.82 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Experience as a health unit coordinator or health information certification desired.
• Experience with Matrix is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enter physician’s orders with high degree of accuracy.
• Schedule medical appointments and transportation.
• Maintain electronic medical records for accurate census data.
• Provide ongoing customer service to residents, family members and facility visitors.
• Assist with inventory and delivery of nursing supplies.
• Complete other tasks as requested.

Chapel View, a Cassia community, is hiring a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) to join our team in Hopkins, MN.

As a Health Unit Coordinator at Chapel View, you will coordinate information and provide administrative support to our team to ensure our residents and visitors have the best possible experience. Our ideal candidate has a knowledge of medical terminology and prior experience as a Health Unit Coordinator.

Position Type: Full-Time, working in long-term care.

Shifts Available: Monday through Friday, Day 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Wage Range: $22.00 to $26.82 per hour depending on experience

Location: 615 Minnetonka Mills Road, Hopkins, MN 55343

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Responsibilities

• Enter physician’s orders with high degree of accuracy.

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) Qualifications

• Experience as a healthunit coordinator, or health information certification desired.
• Experience with Matrix is a plus!
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Accurate and proficient computer skills including Windows based applications.
• Time management skillsfor working in a fast-paced, multi-taskenvironment.
