three 8 hour shifts from 07-1530 Every third weekend rotation and a holiday requirement
Provide essential clerical and front-desk support within patient care units while serving as a central communication hub that helps ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care.
West 5 - Cardiology, Renal, Hepatology and Solid Organ Transplant 24-bed acute care unit. Staff members on West 5 provide care for cardiology and CV surgery, renal, hepatology, solid organ (heart, kidney, and liver) transplant, and rheumatology patients. As part of our upcoming expanded population, nurses will also care for hematology patients with sickle cell disease and bleeding disorders and oncology patients with viral illnesses.
If hired attendance will be required the first week at a New Hire Welcome day on Monday from 9a-4p. There are 3 days of central care partner orientation from 8a-4:30p on Tuesday, Wed and Thursday that first week. We prefer participation in all the sessions, but at minimum, the Thursday session is mandatory.
