Qualifications

• Basic computer skills.

• Team members will maintain annual educational requirements for hospital based certifications (e.g. DNV, CARF or others).

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care and document data in EMR.
• Participate in admission, transfer and discharge process under supervision.
• Perform rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Support nutritional needs and maintain skin integrity.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Coordinate tests and treatments between departments.
• Facilitate communications and manage phone and unit paging.
• Prepare chart forms for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Establish positive patient relations and teamwork.
• Provide age-appropriate care as per department policies.
