Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support RNs with daily patient care, including bathing, feeding, mobility, and monitoring vital signs. The role involves documenting in the electronic medical record (EMR), and performing rounding and communication of patient needs to the RN.

Qualifications include a GED/HSED or high school diploma; no prior experience required. Must have basic computer skills, strong communication, and good organizational abilities.

Formación

• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
• Certification Addendum: hospital certifications must be kept up to date.

Responsabilidades

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Document patient data in EMR and communicate observations to RN.
• Perform purposeful rounding and promptly communicate patient/family needs to RN.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge under supervision of RN.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and PPE as required.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and basic mobility activities.
