Job summary

Aon is seeking a Local Client Delivery Leader to guide a team of health & benefits consultants and act as lead consultant or account executive for a portfolio of clients in the Washington, DC area.

The role is hybrid, requiring regular presence at the DC office with at least 3 days a week in the office and close collaboration with sales teams to develop and grow client relationships. Strong leadership, consulting experience, and a deep health and benefits background are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years Health and Benefits background.
• Consulting experience (10+ years).
• Client facing experience at a consulting company, insurance company, brokerage or in Health/Benefits.
• Complex project management experience.
• Broad business knowledge/perspective.
• Team building skills.
• Business development experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Active Health & Life license.
• PM, Risk Management, Solutions Design, Benefits Administration, Workforce Strategy, Consulting, Customer Engagement, CRM, Data Analysis, Data Management, Meeting Facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of client delivery colleagues and serve as lead consultant or account executive on a portfolio of clients.
• Develop and own the business plan for the Health business and lead client relationships to measurable results.
• Oversee vendor negotiations and provide coaching to team members.
• Partner with sales to develop and sell new client relationships.
• Represent the market with clients, prospects, vendors and organizations in DMV area.
• Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration in service of clients.
