Job summary

Emmaus Community in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Full Time Health and Wellness Support Specialist to provide medication administration, health care coordination, and direct care to residents across multiple sites.

The role requires 2 years of full-time Direct Support Professional experience; NADSP credential is a plus. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with some evenings and weekends; travel to all sites as needed. Salary is $22.00-$24.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Willing to work with all residents at all sites as needed.
• Strong computer, organizational and time management skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with individuals, families and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and model best direct care practices for new staff.
• Administer medication and participate in medication training of new staff.
• Coordinate health-related trainings and ensure timely documentation in Therap and EMAR.
• Attend medical appointments with residents as needed.
• Assist with incident management and documenting in EIM.
