The GEO Group is seeking a Health Services Administrator to manage facility health services, ensuring contractual compliance and efficient operations. You will collaborate with clinical staff, contractors, and regulatory bodies to deliver high-quality healthcare in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, licensure, accreditation, and coordinating with external providers to meet patient needs and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration required.
• Five years of work experience in healthcare administration or healthcare management in a supervisory capacity.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• RN license with active, unrestricted practice in the state of the facility preferred.
• Work in a correctional/detention setting preferred.
• Strong verbal and writing skills.
• Proficient with computers and healthcare software.
• Experience budgeting and meeting contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and evaluate facility health service operations.
• Coordinate with facility staff, contracting agencies, and compliance bodies.
• Manage department budget and improve operational efficiency of health services.
• Ensure licensure and accreditation (NCCHC/ACA/TJC) as required.
• Direct staff and contract providers, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Maintain relationships with external hospitals and providers.
• Respond to information requests and produce operational reports.
