Job summary

The GEO Group is seeking a Health Services Administrator to lead and evaluate facility health service activities, ensuring compliance with contract and healthcare policies. You will manage the health services budget and coordinate with facility staff, contracting agencies, and compliance bodies to optimize care delivery.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Healthcare Administration, have at least five years of supervisory experience in healthcare management, and possess CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration.
• Five years of work experience in healthcare administration or healthcare management in a supervisory capacity.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; RN license preferred if held.
• Experience in correctional or detention settings is preferred.
• Strong verbal and writing skills; ability to train and disseminate information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate all facility health service activities.
• Oversee department budget and improve operational efficiency.
• Liaise between facility staff, contracting agencies, and compliance bodies.
• Ensure licensure and accreditation of medical program (NCCHC/ACA/TJC).
• Direct staff and contract providers, including hiring and performance evaluation.
