Job summary

South Texas College is seeking a Recruiter for Health Science Professions, focusing on eligible students, nontraditional learners, and incumbent healthcare workers. You will develop recruitment plans, engage with high schools and community partners, and track outreach and outcomes to support grant objectives.

The role requires collaboration with program staff and adherence to grant documentation and reporting requirements, with occasional evenings and travel within the college district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Health Science or healthcare preferred.
• At least two years of experience in Healthcare or Educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit eligible students and priority populations through grant objectives.
• Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan for Health Science Professions programs.
• Represent the Division at recruitment events, career fairs, and outreach activities.
• Maintain a recruitment calendar and document outreach events, contacts, referrals, and follow-up actions.
• Assist with intake and follow-up to identify educational barriers and refer to appropriate services.
