Job summary

South Texas College is seeking a Recruiting Specialist for the Division of Health Science Professions to support the U.S. Department of Labor grant. You will lead recruitment, outreach, and enrollment tracking to strengthen the healthcare workforce pipeline in the Rio Grande Valley.

Responsibilities include developing strategic recruitment plans, coordinating with high schools, communities, and workforce partners, and ensuring accurate grant reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in Healthcare, education, or related setting preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet research.

Responsibilities

• Recruit eligible students and other priority populations through grant objectives.
• Develop and implement a strategic recruitment plan for Health Science Professions programs.
• Assist with recruitment activities at schools, community orgs, and events.
• Represent the Division at recruitment events, career fairs, and outreach activities.
• Maintain a recruitment calendar and document outreach, visits, and follow-up actions.
