Western Governors University is seeking a full-time Program Mentor based in the continental United States to coach and guide online learners. You will support academic progress, respond to learner needs promptly, and collaborate across university teams to foster a student-focused atmosphere.

The role emphasizes mentoring, flexible scheduling, and strong written and verbal communication to help students graduate and advance their careers.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience providing student support, mentoring, coaching, and/or instruction.
• Master's or Advanced degree required; applicable licenses/certifications if needed for the degree program.
• Ability to work a student-friendly schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse learner profiles.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a steward of WGU’s mission and strategic vision.
• Provide direct coaching and guidance to a load of assigned students.
• Monitor student progress and provide proactive outreach and support.
• Use technology-based teaching and communication platforms to support progress.
• Collaborate with university professionals to foster a student-obsessed environment.
• Maintain knowledge within the assigned college and uphold WGU Leadership Principles.
