Job summary

William & Mary Associate Program Manager (Health Sciences) supports the NEFSA lab in coordinating daily lab operations, budgeting, and project tracking. Working under the Lab Director, you ensure smooth workflow, assist with planning, and liaise with university offices.

The role emphasizes strong organizational and communication abilities within a research environment. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and experience in quantitative methods, with preference for lab experience and project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Working knowledge of quantitative research methods.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, and desktop publishing software.
  • Working knowledge of data management procedures and institutional software programs.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Experience in a research lab setting is preferred.
  • Experience managing professional projects is preferred.
  • Experience in health sciences or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Manage multiple and diverse assignments in a team environment and track progress.
  • Student Team Coordination: Support undergraduate research assistants and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Communications: Draft memos and presentations; record meeting notes and follow-up items.
  • Research Design & Analytics: Assist with literature reviews and data collection methodologies.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop knowledge of QA procedures.
