Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Site Safety Specialist to lead the safety program at a construction job site in the Fort Worth area. Travel is required, with overtime paid at time and a half, and benefits that support the safety-focused culture.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in construction safety, certifications in First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver’s license. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, and OSHA 510 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years of experience in construction safety.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• OSHA 510 preferred.
• CPR/AED preferred.
• Case management experience preferred.
• High School diploma.
• Bilingual preferred (Spanish).
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a government background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of company safety & health program.
• This role will be located at the job site and requires some overtime, paid at time and 1/2.
• Supervision and support of all company safety standards.
• Safety Training and Education.
• Attend pre-work meetings including preparatory meetings.
• Maintain a weekly list of high-hazard activities.
• Provide and keep a record of site safety orientation and indoctrination.
• All other duties associated with a Health and Safety position.
