Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies in Texas is seeking a Site Safety Specialist with at least 3 years of construction safety experience. The role is based at the job site and requires travel, with overtime paid at time and a half.

The successful candidate will administer the company safety and health program and support site safety standards. Applicants should have First Aid/CPR, OSHA 510 preferred, bilingual Spanish a plus, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a government background check.

Qualifications

• Min. of 3 yrs experience in Construction safety.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• OSHA 510 preferred.
• CPR/AED preferred.
• Case management experience preferred.
• High School diploma.
• Bilingual preferred (SPANISH).
• Must have VALID, unrestricted driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a government background check.

Responsibilities

• Overall administration of company safety & health program.
• This role will be located at the job site and requires some overtime, paid at time and 1/2.
• Supervision and support of all company safety standards.
• Safety Training and Education.
• Attend pre-work meetings including preparatory meetings.
• Maintain a weekly list of high-hazard activities.
• Provide and keep a record of site safety orientation and indoctrination.
• All other duties associated with a Health and Safety position.
