Job summary

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a Site Safety Specialist for our construction projects. The role is on-site with travel, requiring overtime occasionally and ongoing safety program administration.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of construction safety experience, First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver’s license. Bilingual Spanish is a plus, and OSHA 510 is preferred to support our safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Min. of 3 yrs experience in Construction safety.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• OSHA 510 preferred.
• CPR/AED preferred.
• Case management experience preferred.
• High School diploma required.
• Bilingual preferred (SPANISH).
• Must have VALID, unrestricted driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a government background check.

Responsibilities

• Overall administration of company safety & health program.
• This role will be located at the job site and requires some overtime, paid at time and 1/2.
• Supervision and support of all company safety standards
• Safety Training and Education
• Attend pre-work meetings including preparatory meetings
• Maintain a weekly list of high-hazard activities
• Provide and keep a record of site safety orientation and indoctrination
• All other duties associated with a Health and Safety position.
