Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.
• Completion of OSHA 30-hour General Industry or equivalent safety certification.
• 1–2 years of safety-related experience in transportation/logistics.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Health and Safety Manager in developing and maintaining safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct safety audits, inspections and assessments to identify hazards and address risks.
• Investigate safety incidents and prepare reports with findings and recommendations.
• Assist in developing and delivering safety training programs for employees.
• Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management.
• Stay updated on changes in safety regulations and communicate them to management and staff.
