Job summary

VOLO Health, headquartered in Jupiter, FL, is seeking a Product Design Manager to lead our in-house product design team and provide user experience direction for mobile and web features across VOLO Health products.

This is a hybrid role: the ideal candidate is both a strong hands-on designer who will personally own and execute design work, and an effective people leader able to set design strategy, mentor and grow a small team of designers, and ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to design or engineering.
• 7+ years of UX/product design experience, including mobile design.
• 2+ years of experience mentoring designers.
• Understanding of native mobile app design for iOS/Android.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Portfolio showing individual work and leadership experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Jupiter, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute design work on a subset of projects with hands-on involvement.
• Lead and manage a team of product designers with mentorship.
• Set design vision and strategy for mobile and web apps.
• Review wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for quality and consistency.
• Establish design standards, systems, and best practices across products.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and ops to align with roadmap and goals.
• Translate product goals into functional user experiences across life cycles.
• Stay current with industry trends to keep products competitive.
