Main Purpose of Job
This position provides high level executive support and senior level policy development/policy analysis on issues relating to the Developmental Disabilities Administration. Responsibilities include analysis of management performance data, research of new initiatives, and evaluation of the impact of new policies/alternative approaches on consumers, service providers, and DDA. The role involves serving as lead author and editor for public reports, taking independent responsibility for the creation and distribution of internal and external data analytics products, and coordinating the writing and editing of legislative testimony by the Deputy Secretary and senior staff. Additionally, the position requires independent analysis of the impact of statutes, regulations, and bill proposals for the Administration, as well as coordination with other Analysts for reports, digital communications, and data analysis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Three years of experience evaluating, analyzing, researching, and developing health care services, policies, and programs.
