Job summary

HDR is a leading architecture, engineering and planning firm. As a Health Planner II, you’ll provide planning, design and coordination on healthcare projects, applying knowledge of codes, materials and construction procedures to deliver safe, efficient spaces.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture and at least 3 years in the A/E industry, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Travel is expected for this employee-owned culture and diverse project locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; minimum 3 years in A/E industry.
• Strong organizational skills and knowledge of design and construction processes.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to collaborate across disciplines.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, design and coordination support on healthcare projects.
• Engage in problem solving and teamwork to create accurate drawings.
• Prepare drawings and specification documents.
• Research, plan, design and administer building projects per codes and codes.
• Understand healthcare trends to inform design.
• Assist lead Health Planner with diagrams and narratives.
• Coordinate all disciplines related to building design and health planning.
• Perform other duties as needed.
