Job summary

HDR is seeking a Health Planner II to contribute to planning, design and coordination on healthcare projects nationwide. You will help create drawings, specifications, and narratives while applying knowledge of codes and building materials in a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or closely related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in A/E industry; healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools and production of technical plans and models.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture and travel willingness.
• Healthcare architecture experience with licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning, design and coordination support on HDR projects.
• Engage in problem solving, teamwork, and visualization to create drawings.
• Prepare drawings and specification documents.
• Research and design building projects applying codes and materials.
• Assist the lead Health Planner and coordinate disciplines.
• Travel as required.
