Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Product Strategist, Consultant to drive strategy development and execution for commercial and consumer health plans. You will translate market insights, business objectives, customer needs, and regulatory requirements into actionable product strategies.

This role oversees portfolio direction, roadmaps, and recommendations that enhance growth, retention, affordability, and member experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
7+ years of experience in product strategy, product management, portfolio management, health plan products, or related fields.
Deep understanding of health plan products, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
Extensive knowledge of ACA guidelines and Individual & Family Plan markets.
Strong project management and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Drive product strategy and roadmaps for multiple lines of business.
Translate market insights, objectives and regulatory requirements into actionable strategies.
Provide portfolio direction and product recommendations to drive growth, retention and member experience.
Collaborate with leaders to build high‑performing cross-functional teams and deliver results.
