Job summary

Children's National Medical Center is seeking an Interface Architect I in Washington, DC to deliver healthcare data exchange solutions that support payor operations, regulatory compliance, and enterprise initiatives.

In this role, you will design interfaces, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure data integrity and security across systems. Candidates should have 1+ year of interface architecture experience and knowledge of healthcare workflows; Epic experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is required.
• 1 year of interface architecture experience, or 1–3 years in Application Analyst with interface testing.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data, revenue cycle workflows, and interoperability.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with healthcare interface technologies, APIs, and data exchange standards (Epic a plus).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop interface solutions using relevant technologies and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather interface requirements and specifications.
• Ensure data integrity and security across interfaces, adhering to industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues and performance bottlenecks.
