Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an experienced project manager to lead interdepartmental health plan initiatives from planning through onboarding, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met. You will engage executives, coordinate resources across departments, and drive strategic partnerships inside and outside PA to deliver results.

The role requires strong leadership, detailed requirements gathering, and proactive risk management to ensure program success and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience coordinating interdepartmental projects.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, costs and risks.

Responsibilities

• Assembles project team, establishes authority and defines scope, objectives, timelines and budget.
• Records requirements and creates artifacts via stakeholder sessions.
• Manages changes to scope, schedule and costs to keep plans aligned.
• Manages all risk levels and develops contingency plans.
• Implements actions to mitigate risk events and minimize impact.
• Organizes and directs tasks to apply standards and methodologies.
• Maintains a current project plan and documentation in the enterprise system.
• Communicates with stakeholders in a timely manner and manages resources.
• Leads regular status meetings and documents agendas.
• Analyzes profitability, revenue, margins, invoicing and receivables.
• Establishes performance metrics and reports them periodically.
• Evaluates post-implementation benefits and tracks hours/costs.
