Job summary

MedPOINT Management in Sherman Oaks, CA is seeking a driven Health Plan Contracting Manager to lead negotiation and management of health plan contracts, building strong payer relationships.

You will analyze contract terms, reimbursement rates, and fee schedules to ensure financial viability while collaborating with finance, operations, and legal to support contract implementation. Flexible work-from-home options are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in health plan contracting or payer relations.
• Strong knowledge of managed care concepts and value-based contracts.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, review, and manage contracts with health plans, IPAs, and MCOs
• Analyze contract terms, reimbursement rates, and fee schedules for viability
• Serve as primary contact for health plan partners and payer relations
• Monitor contract compliance and regulatory adherence
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and legal to implement contracts
• Track renewals, amendments, and terminations to keep the repository current
• Identify opportunities to improve payer agreements and optimize reimbursement
